Bi weekly disposable contact lenses, also called 2 weekly
contact lenses, are intended to be worn daily and replaced every 14
days. They are a suitable option for people who may experience
discomfort in the last weeks of wearing monthly contact lenses. Some bi-weekly
lenses are approved by the manufacturer for extended wear. This means, with your
optician’s recommendation, you can wear them for up to 7 days and 6
nights without removing. Wearing bi-weekly contact lenses longer than
your optician’s guidelines is not recommended. If bi-weekly lenses are worn
like this, they must then be discarded at the end of 7 days’ extended wear.
