Laim-Care contact lens solution
Laim-Care is an
isotonic, multi-purpose cleaning solution for the disinfection and storage of
contact lenses. One advantage of Laim-Care solution is its content of hyaluronic
acid. Hyaluronic acid is the body's natural lubricating substance, and it
helps moisturise contact lenses so that they remain comfortable to wear
throughout the day. It also works as an effective antibacterial agent. The
solution is supplied in a pack of 400 ml volume with an antibacterial
contact lens case.
Laim-Care solution is also offered in different size packages –
150 ml, 2 x 400 ml and 3 x 400 ml at bargain prices (larger pack = better
price).
The first solution to contain hyaluronic acid
Laim-Care
was launched in August 2010. It was the first solution on the market to include
hyaluronic acid among its ingredients. Sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid)
occurs naturally in the human body, and therefore causes no irritation to
sensitive eyes. It is now one of the most popular products on the market,
and is highly recommended by eye-care experts.
Effective lubrication
Hyaluronic acid is an excellent lubricating substance, which is completely
compatible with the internal environment of the eye. Using Laim-Care solution
makes wearing contact lenses more pleasant and comfortable. Additionally,
hyaluronic acid helps stimulate cell regeneration and acts as an antibacterial
agent. It is widely used in ophthalmic surgeries.
Suitable for sensitive
and irritated eyes
Laim-Care is suitable for users who have sensitive
eyes or suffer from dry eyes or persistent redness. It is intended for the
care of all types of soft contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel and
coloured contact lenses.
Free antibacterial contact lens case
Each pack of solution includes an antibacterial case with silver ions,
which enhance the ability of the solution to kill bacteria on the lenses and in
the case itself. LAIM-CARE solution can also be used effectively with standard,
plastic lens cases without silver ions.
The lens case must be
replaced regularly for hygienic reasons. The manufacturer recommends
replacing the case at least every three months, which corresponds to how
long the solution can be used from its first opening date. If you use the
solution longer than this, you expose yourself to health risks.
