Rotating case for contact lenses – pink cactus
This rotating
contact lens case has the shape of a cactus, which can literally spin the dirt
from your lenses! This type of case is what we call a barrel case. Attached to
the lid, you’ll find two baskets marked with the usual R and L
symbols. These letters will help you differentiate between your left
and right lens. This case is exclusively intended for use with
universal, multi-purpose solutions.
Use
If
it’s the first time you’re using this case, give it a rinse with
some lens solution first. You should never use the same case for too
long in order to avoid bacterial growth. It is generally recommended to replace
the case each time a new bottle of solution is opened. A case should never be
used longer than 3 months.
First, take the lid off. Place your lenses
into the appropriate baskets attached to the lid. Then, fill up the bottom part
of the case with some fresh multi-purpose solution, up to the fill line. You can
now close the lid and submerge your lenses in the solution. Now you can spin
your lenses around inside the case. Rotation is achieved by pulling the
small arm of the cactus (located on the lid of the case.
Making
the baskets spin and rotate in the case filled with solution, will help remove
dirt and deposits more effectively from the lenses. This process does, however,
not replace the need to let your lenses fully clean, soaks and disinfect in
their solution. For proper lens care, always follow the exact instructions
described by the multi-purpose lens solution brand. Each brand has its own rules
for lens cleaning.
Please note that this rotating case is not
suitable for use with peroxide solutions!
